This foraging workshop will take place the Sunday before the week of the autumnal equinox. We will spend our time focusing on the shifting seasonality of wild edibles. During this workshop we’ll be searching for species like Spicebush, Elderberry, Goldenrod, Paw Paws and late- summer Fungi. We’ll discuss proper identification, harvesting practices and preservation techniques. This class will take place entirely outdoors, so for those who aren’t comfortable in outside settings for several hours (or hiking up to 2 miles), this may not be for you. Tickets are available here, this class will only have 10 spots available. There will be a waiver to fill out upon purchase of admission tickets that’s required to join us.
