Spring is a brilliant time of year for foragers new and experienced! This workshop will be focused on foraging for some beautiful fresh common wild edibles at this time of year. Some wild edibles that we'll potentially be interacting with are wild spring greens (various species), spruce tips, spring beauties, redbuds, morels, nettles, pine needles, honeysuckle flowers, rose hips and much more. We'll go over the identification of these common wild edibles and will discuss how to harvest, ethnobotanical traditions, how to incorporate wild foods into nutritious delicious dishes and how to preserve them. This workshop takes place in a forested area and walking upwards of 2 miles is very common. Keep in mind, there’s two workshops taking place this day so be sure to choose your preferred time while booking. There will be a waiver to fill out upon purchase of admission tickets that’s required to join us.

Cancellation notice: If you choose to cancel your ticket(s), please do so at least 30 days before the scheduled workshop. Your ticket purchase will be eligible for a 50% refund if canceled thirty days prior to the workshop event date. If canceled after, there’s no refunds. If you don't show up to the event for any reason, there's absolutely no refunds. Due to the limited class sizes (roughly 15-17 people per workshop), there's no policy where you can transfer your ticket(s) to a different workshop than the one you originally booked UNLESS it's not full. If you choose to do this, you're responsible for contacting us with at least 30 days notice prior to the workshop date you've booked.
