The Spring is upon us! Beautiful mornings, wild flowers, wild greens and new growth is all around us in the wild at this time of year. This workshop will be focused on Foraging wild spring greens (invasive species primarily but a few select natives) as well as spring edibles like Spruce tips, Honey suckle and violets. We’ll go over the identification of these common wild edibles and discuss how to harvest, prepare and preserve them. There will be a waiver to fill out upon purchase of admission tickets that’s required to join us.
