Join George Barnett for an hour-long presentation on the topic of rewilding our modern day diets through the act of foraging wild foods. He will take you on a journey that begins with looking at what hunter gatherer diets looked like and will discuss various way to reintroduce these food ways into our modern lives. Superior food options have always been out there, but it takes effort, intention, and discipline to procure them in any substantial way today.

Topics Covered Throughout Discussion:

- Looking at our ancestral diets compared to ours
- Working for food (movements and activity of a hunter gatherer)
- Eating seasonally (planning harvests, equipment)
- Wild food gathering and preservation techniques
- Processing tips for six common wild foods of southeastern USA

When: The live recording will be held on Thursday January 11th, 2024 @ 7:30pm-8:30pm. *For individuals purchasing the presentation recording only, you will receive an email with a link to view the online workshop at your leisure.

Where: Online (via ZOOM). All paid attendees will receive an email with the ZOOM meeting link which will include the password to join the online workshop.

Cancellation policy: If you choose to cancel your spot(s), do so at least 30 days before the scheduled date of the workshop. Your purchase will be eligible for a 50% refund if canceled at least thirty days prior to the online workshop event date. If canceled sooner than 30 days from the date of the online workshop, there’s no refunds.
